Painted plaster, Grand Tour model of the sarcophagus of Scipio Barbatus, Italian (Roman) School, 19th century, inscribed in red 'CORNELIVS CN.P. SCIPIO', with inscriptions below. Inside the lid is a note inscribed, 'Model of the tomb of Scipio - made of part of the stone of the original'. On a grey marble base. Base loose, tomb cracked.
