Summary
A wooden taxidermy display case with a glass front, the exterior painted black and the interior lined with cream paper. The case contains a collection of stuffed but unmounted taxidermy specimens including birds, fish, an otter, a stoat and a rabbit, some hung from a line strung across the top of the case. The case illustrates the working process of a taxidermist.
Provenance
Transferred to the National Trust by the Treasury in lieu of CTT in 1985 with an endowment provided by the NHMF.
