Summary
A rectangular mahogany box containing artist's painting materials. The inside of the box is divided into three hrizontal sections. The first is sub-divided into smaller compartments. The middles section has a long metal box with a lid this had compartments inside for holding the paint. The last section also has a metal conatiner wich is sloped and holds the brushes in all, of different widths. On the lid is pinned an oval palette. A label inside reads, 'Charles Smith Superfine colour man, manufacturer of all kinds of improved drawing and painting materials. No. 34 Mary-le-Bone Street. Picadilly'.
