Summary
A mahogany fire screen, in the manner of Gillows of Lancaster, English, circa 1820. With a moulded frame and three sliding panels, raised on cheval feet and brass castors, tied by a turned stretcher.
Provenance
Calke Abbey and contents transferred to the National Trust by the Treasury in lieu of CTT in 1985 with an endowment provided by the NHMF.
