Summary
An oak two panel room screen, English, circa 1890. Each panel with a pierced quatrefoil frieze and moulded frame with embroidered panels depicting a knight and a lady standing in an archway within a foliate border, the panels are glazed and backed with a floral patterned fawn textile.
Provenance
Calke Abbey and contents transferred to the National Trust by the Treasury in lieu of CTT in 1985 with an endowment provided by the NHMF.
