Summary
One of a set of eight large wooden display cases with painted grained effect. Three glass panels in the front and a glass panel either side. The interior backs of each case painted with a landscape. Moulded bases, four bun feet. Each case contains stuffed animals or birds. Display of British carnivorous mammals such as the badger, polecat, marten and other members of the weasel family, there is also a fox and red squirrels.
Provenance
Transferred to the National Trust by the Treasury in lieu of CTT in 1985 with an endowment provided by the NHMF.
