Summary
A large wooden taxidermy display case, one of a set of eight with a painted grained effect, a moulded base on four bun feet, glass panels to the front and sides, two vertical wooden bars on the front and decorated internally with a painted landscape scene. This case contains a diorama of British carnivorous mammals including a badger, a polecat, a stoat, a marten, weasels, a fox and squirrels.
Provenance
Transferred to the National Trust by the Treasury in lieu of CTT in 1985 with an endowment provided by the NHMF.
