Summary
A mahogany clothes press with panelled double doors above two short and two full-width drawers. It stands on curved bracket feet. A moulded cornice above the doors with shallow panelling and reeded moulding. Giltmetal reeded strip edges door down the centre. Sliding shelves inside have raised backs and sides, with moulded front edges, and are of oak. The drawers are oak inside, quarter beaded, and are cock-beaded. There are various giltmetal drawer handles, rounded and squared, with round and octangonal mounts. Early 19th century. Shaped apron is broken. Key found in one of drawers.
