Summary
Sepia watercolour of an old house, the reverse inscribed, 'Breadsall Old Hall before restoration/by G.R. Vausen Senr.' The house has Tudor style windows in a gable to the right, the lower part to the left has Gothic lancet windows. The roof appears to be thatched. A woman carrying a basket in front of the house. Inscribed 'Vausen' and 'Breadsall'. Mounted and with narrow gilt frame, the outer edge beaded.
