Summary
Print, engraving, The Noble Behaviour of Caractacus before the Emperor Claudius (after Francis Hayman RA) by Charles Grignion the elder (London 1717 – Kentish Town 1810). Claudius is enthroned to the right, a group of people coming before him. Now separate from its frame; reeded and ebonised with gilt inner moulding, glass broken (in MS14).
