Full-length portrait of Sir Vauncey Harpur Crewe 10th Bart. as young man of 16, based on a photograph, drawn in monochrome with grey washes and white highlights. Signed 'Hughes and Mullins'. He is shown standing on a balcony with a cane in his right hand, a straw hat in his left. He wears a long jacket, straight buttoned waistcoat and long trousers. Short hair. In an oak frame with a gilt inner edge and band of green velvet inside. A band of beading runs between the gilt and canted oak edge. Edges are gilt.
