Engraving, Christ's Charge to Peter (after Raphael) by Thomas Holloway (London 1749 - Coltishall 1827)One of a set of seven engravings by Thomas Holloway g) Engraving en suite by Thomas Holloway, R. Slann and T.S. Webb after Raphael. Published at Hampton Court in 1810 and dedicated to the King. Entitled 'Christ's Charge to Peter.' Eleven Apostles follow Christ into countryside where he stands near a flock of sheep, speaking to Peter, Peter kneels before him holding the keys. One of the Raphael Cartoons, from the Royal Collection, now housed in the Victoria and Albert Museum.
