One of a set of seven engravings by Thomas Holloway f) Engraving en suite by Thomas Holloway, R. Slann and T.S. Webb after Raphael. Published at Hampton Court in 1828 and dedicated to the King. Entitled 'Paul and Barnabas rejecting the sacrifice at Lystra.' Sacrificial cattle and sheep are being brought to the alter amongst crowds of people, some protesting.One of the Raphael Cartoons, from the Royal Collection, now housed in the Victoria and Albert Museum.
