Lithograph, Paul preaching at Athens (after Raphael) by Thomas Holloway (London 1749 - Coltishall 1827)One of a set of seven engravings by Thomas Holloway after Raphael cartoons published at Hampton Court in 1806. a) Entitled in English and Latin 'Paul preaching at Athens' and dedicated to the King. Paul is shown standing on some stone steps, arms outstretched, preaching. Classical buildings surround him. Margin foxed. One of the Raphael Cartoons, from the Royal Collection, now housed in the Victoria and Albert Museum.
