Summary
Engraving, Entrance of Christ into Jerusalem by Lorenzo Ghiberti from the Baptistery Doors, Florence. Print published by the Art Union of London, 1849, showing a panel carved in low relief. Christ on a donkey is in the centre, passing along a road where palms are being laid out before him. Crowds of people surround him in an informal procession. The moulded frame is also engraved.
