Engraving, Tyndale translating the Bible (after Alexander Johnston) by George Raphael Ward (London 1797 – London 1879). Published by the Art Union, London 1856. Entitled 'Tyndale translating the Bible'. Two bearded men are shown in a study, one ardently writing, seated at a desk. The other stands behind him and glances out of the window. A bible rests on a bookstand before the writer. The men are dressed in contemporary dress.
