Summary

One of 2 copies of an engraving by H.C. Shenton, finished by C.H. Jeens after T.F. Dicksee. Printed by McQueen and published by the Art Union, London, 1863. A young woman is shown running in delight along a path, a small child riding on her shoulders. A dog runs along at her feet. The woman has bare feet and wears heavy but simple clothing. CAL/D/944b is similar to the above. Mount foxed.
