Chromolithograph, The Virgin Enthroned with Saints By Giovanni Santi, Tiranni Chapel, San Domenico, Cagli (after Cesari Mariannecci) by Ludwig Grüner (Dresden 1801 - Dresden 1882). By Storch and Kramer under the direction of L. Gruner for the Arundel Society 1859. From a fresco by Giovanni Santi at Cagli, drawn by Mariannecci. The virgin enthroned holds the child who stands on her knee. Either side are angels, St.Peter, St.John the Baptist, a monk and a priest. Above the throne and its architectural setting is an apse on which is painted a scene from the life of Christ. Arch-topped print.
