Summary
Etching, S.E. View of St Edmund's Church, Fritton, Suffolk by Henry Davy (1793-1865). One of a series of etchings by Henry Davy 'for his Suffolk Antiquities'. Each has a title inscribed. 'S.E. View of Fritton Church, Suffolk'. The Church is thatched with a round west tower and a round-ended chancel. Dated 1820. Dated 1819. Late impression. See CAL/D/884a-g. A Norman round towered and thatched church featuring an apse, chancel and 14th century nave. With a Victorianised interior and stained glass windows.
