Summary

Engraving, Adoration of the Shepherds (after Peter Paul Rubens) (after Paulus Pontius) by Cornelis van Merlen (1654 - 1723).Entitled: 'Ecce Virgo Conciplet et Pariet Filium.' The Virgin shows the baby Jesus to the three shepherds who kneel before him. Above is a group of angels under the arched top. Cut to plate mark. Some tears repaired.
