Summary
An illuminated address to Richard Fynderne Harpur Crewe from the tenants of the Derbyshire portion of the Harpur Crewe estate on the occasion of his twenty-first birthday. Hand-painted by E. Morton of Birmingham. It is signed by the chairman, vice chairman and committee and dated April 5th 1901. The address is surrounded by small watercolours illustrating parts of the Harpur Crewe estate and a small photograph of Richard. In a gilt wood frame.
Provenance
Transferred to the National Trust by the Treasury in lieu of CTT in 1985 with an endowment provided by the NHMF.
