Summary
Pencil and watercolour on paper, A coastline with ships by Sir John Harpur Crewe, 9th Bt. (1824-1886). Drawing of a coastline with ships in the distance, a lighthouse and figures in the foreground. An inscription on the back reads, 'By my father J.C.'. (Inventory card) Sir John was an amatuer watercolourist, see also CAL/D/607. (House Guide, last revised 1996). In an oval brown painted frame, gold inner ring.
