Boydell after George Smith of Chichester of an extensive landscape. Inscribed beneath 'The original picture from which this print was taken in the year 1760, obtained the first premium granted by the Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufacturers and Commerce in London'. A river runs through the centre of the landscape, a musician, painter and poet on one bank and a family on the other. Cattle and sheep being herded across a bridge and a castle and city in the distance. Edges slightly torn.
