Summary
Black watercolour studies with ink inscription of a Venetian gondola, possibly by La Cave. Different parts of the gondola are drawn separately. Inscription reads 'The gondola is covered with cloth. Upon the seats are cushions of black leather, the blinds are thin frames of wood on which is stretched black cloth, and they are made to slide side-ways, in the back part is a glap window, as also one in the door by which you enter, in the front'.
