Summary
One of a pair of sepia photographic reproduction prints of paintings by Botticelli. Both are of the Virgin and Child and are circular. a) shows the Virgin being crowned by two angels, she holds the Child on her lap who gazes upwards and writes in a book held open by three other figures. In an elaborate circular moulded frame. A label on the back reads 'The Madonna of the Magnificat, Uffizi Gallery, Botticelli'. b) Has a central Virgin, holding the Child on her lap and surrounded by a group of angels, some holding books. In a circular, elaborately pierced frame. Label on the reverse reads, 'Uffizi Gallery, Botticelli'. In mahogany frames.
