Summary

Published by Hurst Robinson and Co., 90 Cheapside in 1821. The picture shows a farming family, the children and mother all seated around the father who holds his hands out to cast a shadow of a rabbit on the wall. Beneath the picture is an inscription 'From the Original in the collection of John Turner Esq. to whom this plate is respectfully dedicated by his obliged servant - David Wilkie' Badly torn. In an ebonised frame, no glass.
