Summary
Print, mezzotint, Sir John St Aubyn, 5th Bt, MP, FSA (1758-1839) (after John Opie) by Samuel William Reynolds, the younger (London 1794 - Felpham 1872). A mezzotint portrait of a young man shown full-length with a dog by his side. Signed on the margin 'J.S. Aubyn'. He stands in front of a rock with a distant view to the left, wearing a long jacket, breeches and holding a staff and hat in his left hand. In a canted maple frame with gilt inner edge.
