Summary
An illuminated manuscript from the Breadsall tenants 'To Vauncey Harpur Crewe Esquire' on the attainment of his majority, dated October 14th 1867. Painted with a design of pink, blue, yellow and green leaves down the left side, the initials in gold and red or blue. Signed by twelve tenants; drawn up by Bemrose of Derby. In a carved gilt gesso frame with relief pattern of oak leaves on the frame, oak twigs on sinuous stems at the corners and family crest in the centre.
