Summary
Print, coloured aquatint, A horse named 'Emilius' (after John Frederick Herring the elder) by Charles Hunt Snr (1803-1877). 'Emilius', a brown horse standing in front of a wall. By C. Hunt after J.F. Herring. The inscription reads, 'Emilius, bred by Mr Llydney in 1820, got by Cerville out of Emily by Stamford her dam by Whisky out of Grey Dormant. The property of Thomas Thornhill Esq.' Dedicated by S [and] J Fuller, published in London, May 28th 1834. Wide margin.
