Summary
Print, engraving, Campaign in Portugal - Battle of Salamanca by Henri L'Eveque (1769-1832). A set of five engravings, early 19th century called 'Campaign in Portugal', drawn and engraved by H. L'Eveque and published in May 1815 for the proprietors by Messers, Colnaghi and Co. (e) Engraaving called 'Battle of Salamanca'. The foreground is a hill with cavalrymen surveying the battle ground below, where lines of troops march towards each other. In the distance is a town (Plate no. 16)
