Summary
Print, mezzotint, King George IV (1762-1830) in Coronation Robes (after Thomas Phillips) by Samuel William Reynolds the elder (London 1773 – London 1835). Published 1820, Shown three-quarter length, enthroned and wearing regalia, the crown beside him. Wears ermine cloak and holds the orb. Stained ribbed frame, gilt inside (see CAL/D/143). Freeman's (Carver and Gilder) label on the back.
