Summary
One Copeland Spode covered jug, part of a Copeland Spode mid 19th century green and gold tea service. Mainly white with green borders decorated with gold scrolls and white flowers. The plates, saucers and cups are decorated with gold stars and floral borders. The tea service is much damaged and has been added to several times, the greens are different colours. The earliest pieces could date from 1830.
Provenance
Transferred to the National Trust by the Treasury in lieu of CTT in 1985 with an endowment provided by the NHMF.
