Summary
One of a pair of sealed blue glass fire extinguishing grenades. Each has a circular reeded body with a moulded star and a ridge around the middle, onto which are moulded the words 'Fire extinguisher, Harden Star Hand Grenade'. The bottle has a short neck and a flat top. A red label around the neck reads; 'How to use, throw the grenade into the hottest part of the fire.' Each bottle is filled with a clear liquid which is carbon tetrachloride.
