Summary
A glass infants feeding bottle manufactured by Savers, one of two objects contained in the original cardboard box packaging. The bottle has ‘SAVERS FEEDING BOTTLE’ embossed on one side and has a white lid that has a hole in the centre. Around the edge of the lid ‘SAVERS FEEDING BOTTLE’ is printed in red letters. The bottle would originally have come with a length of rubber tube but this is missing.
Provenance
Transferred to the National Trust by the Treasury in lieu of CTT in 1985 with an endowment provided by the NHMF.
Marks and inscriptions
Side of bottle and around edge of lid: SAVERS FEEDING BOTTLE is embossed on side of bottle and printed in red capital leters around the edge of the lid
