Summary
Dress sword with a metal scabbard and leather case, the latter embossed 'A.M.S.' on the cover. The blade has an inset stamp 'Provel' at the handle end. The steel hilt is pierced and curved and has the royal cypher of Edward VII. This is also on the blade with other decoration. A thong is attached with a plaited cone terminal. The handle is of bound shagreen. Plain sheath, the leather case shaped to fit.
