Letter dated; May 18th 1807 Dear Sir Hearing that you propose a remedy to alleviate the pain of that terrible foe to man, the gout, I will first apologise for requesting you to send it me, as poor Lord William is confined to his bed by a most dreadful attack, and it occurred to him you once mentioned something of magnesia in tea on hearing this I was persuaded you would communicate to me these particulars, well knowing how liberal you always are of the knowledge you […..], I venture to make the request, my best comp; to Mrs Bromhead If you have a […..] or two to dispose of […..] bestow it on Pelham Much Gr…… M.S.
