Summary
Bonnet of a mourning costume made in black straw and decorated with black satin and voile ribbons, sequins and feathers. The bonnet forms part of a mourning outfit consisting of bodice, skirt, bonnet and cape which dates from the 1890's but may have been worn into the 1900's by an older lady.
Provenance
purchased from a Barnstaple family in 2001 for display at the Carriage Museum.
