Summary
1/8th accurate scale model of Gordon Boswell's Open Lot Caravan, the original being in the Family Museum at Spalding in Lincolnshire. The model has been made by R.J. Amphlett of Abertillery, Wales. Dated 1930-1940, the caravan's bedchamber is tiered with more space for drawers and storage. It is higly decorated outside, with a green canvas roof and a plum-coloured base with gold leaf, scroll marks and some motifs. The tyres are rubbered.
