Summary
1/8th accurate scale model of a Burton Wagon, called the Heron Caravan as the original may have belonged to the Heron Family, who travelled - mainly around East Anglia - in the 19th Century. The original is now at Poulters Romany Museum, Ower, Hampsthire and the model has been made by R.J. Amphlett of Abertillery, Wales. Predominantly in red with a white removable roof, it is higly decorated outside, with 4 carved herons on the front and back porches. On the front there are 6 animal heads carved on the panels. It is fully furnished and varnished throughout.
