Summary
1/8th accurate scale model of a Hereford Ledge Gypsy Caravan built by H. Jones and Sons of Hereford and made by R.J. Amphlett of Abertillery, Wales. The body is in maroon, with a white roof and yellow under springs. It is highly decorated, both inside and out, with motifs and paintwork, including the ceiling. It is completely furnished and has stone and etched mirrors and paintings of country flowers on the cupboard and panels. The penny boards extend right through the sides including the porches to the back and front. The decorations and motifs and paintwork are the modelmaker's choice, as the original is not so ornate.
