Summary
1/8th accurate scale model of a Brush Caravan (or Fen Wagon) owned by Peter Ingram of Limes End, Selborne, Hampshire and made by R.J. Amphlett of Abertillery, Wales. The brush caravan was a horse-drawn shop (mobile shop) in the late 19th early 20th century. The body is mainly blue, the removable roof white and the unders in yellow with red lining. It is highly decorated and sign written 'James Jones-Goods New and Secondhand-Carpets and Oilcloths-General Dealer-Wholesale and Retail'. The access is at the rear via permanent steps.
