Summary
A large mahogany specimen cabinet. Each long side with drawers (6 on one side, 7 on other) flanked by fielded doors enclosing 6 or 7 drawers Moulded lip and base.
Provenance
Rev. Ellerton Garside Alderson (1868-1933) and by descent to his sister Lady Eveline Maude (d.1945). Sold by her executors to Lady Charlotte Iliffe (1881-1972) of Yattendon Court, Berkshire and by descent to Langton, 2nd Baron Iliffe (1908-1996) by whom gifted to the National Trust with Basildon Park and its Estate, 1978.
