Summary
A stained-beech armchair, English, circa 1830-40, the back, armrests and front legs formed of turned bobbins with plain seat rails and rear legs, all legs terminating in brass castors. With two squab cushions stuffed with horsehair and covered in a cotton weave, along with the armrests.
Provenance
Not thought to have belong to the Carlyles, but introduced to the house circa 1959.
