Summary
Victorian circular silver monteith, rose bowl on spreading circular foot with moulded rim. The shaped rim applied with scrolls and foliage, engraved with Battle Axes coat of arms in a rococo cartouche. Silver hallmarked with initials WBJ, ascribed to W and J Barnard 1894 London. Engraved copperplate writing on outside reads; G.A. Gibbs Esqre / from the servants / of the Household / July 6th 1894.
