Summary

A Victorian electroplated lidded presentation tankard. Large D-shaped scroll handle with hinged lid. Lion lying on top of lid across to hinge thumb piece. Exeter College crest on top of the lid. Engraved on the side; EXETER COLLEGE / Challenge Racquets / 1864 / 1865 / A.Gibbs. / G.H.Norris.
