Summary
One of thirty-five white ceramic Minton dessert plates having decorative pierced lattice work alternating with three plain cartouches surrounded by leaf forms around the rim. On reverse is stamped; MINTON / 17. Also on reverse, painted in black; 840.1001. Additionally a printed and handwritten paper label reads; T.9 (and) Co. Ltd. / 543 / P. Piece broken and missing from lattice edge. Around broken edge are metal staples and staple holes from a previous repair. Further round edge are two cracks at the edge of the lattice, approximately 1.5 cm long. Discoloured glaze.
