Heading reads; THE MIDDLESEX HOSPITAL / RECONSTRUCTION FUND. / LADIES' COMMITTEE. Embossed coat of arms shows three scimitars. Committee details on the left read; Chairman The HON. URSULA LAWLEY. / Hon. Treasurer LADY BLAND-SUTTON. / Hon. Secretaries / Mrs. A. E. WEBB-JOHNSON. / Mrs. RICHARD C. DAVIS. Address on the right reads; The Middlesex Hospital, / W. 1. / MUSEUM 1056. The pre-printed letter reads as follows; Dear Sir, / A very remarkable offer has been made to the Ladies' / Committee of the Middlesex Hospital Reconstruction Fund by the / Chairman of Mac Fisheries Ltd. He has undertaken to maintain a / 'Middlesex Hospital Produce Stall' at 58A, Brompton Road from / August 12th until November 30th. Game, Fish, Poultry, Dairy / and Garden Produce of every kind will be offered for sale,and, / thanks to the generosity of Mac Fisheries Ltd., the entire / proceeds will be given to the Reconstruction Fund. / If you are in the habit of sending surplus game to the / Hospitals, this scheme affords the certainty that the utmost / value will be derived from your gift. There is no risk that / any of it will be wasted, and I shall be exceedingly grateful / if you can find an opportunity to help us in this fashion. / It is all important that the supply should be con- / stant, and contributions, however small, will be very welcome, / especially if they can be repeated from time to time.
