Summary
Three hundred and six unused off-white mourning envelopes with black border to edges, flap to seal is pointed, In the cardboard box base (NT25754.1.2). One hundred and twenty-five are in five bundles of twenty-five. Each bundle is held together by a patterned brown paper strip on which is printed in black; WARRISTON / KID FINISHED / VELLUM. A further forty-eight are bundled in groups of twenty-four held together by a strip of patterned cream paper on which is printed in black; PARCHMENT. The remaining one hundred and thirty-three envelopes were loose in the box. (Now secured by cotton tape).
