Envelope accompanying a letter from Beatrix Potter to Joseph Moscrop, shepherd to Beatrix Potter at Troutbeck Park Farm from 1926. The envelope is dated June 27. 41 and is addressed to Mr. J. Moscrop, Troutbeck Park, Troutbeck, Nr. Windermere. It has been town along the top edge and there is a blue postage stamp. Part of a collection of letters, Beatrix Potter's Lake District Letters to Joseph Moscrop, edited and transcribed by Judy Taylor and published (1988) as 'Beatrix Potter's Farming Friendship, Lake District Letters to Joseph Moscrop 1926-1943'.
