Summary
Letter from Beatrix Potter to Fanny Cooper, her cousin, dated 14 December 1925. Concerning winter weather; girls learning to drive and the costs and advantages of running a car; the car bought for the District Nurse; William Heelis' invalid brother staying with the Heelis' for 3 years. Beatrix's signature has been cut out of the bottom of the letter leaving a rectangular hole. This letter is part of a collection of letters (15 written by Beatrix Potter and 1 written by William Heelis) to Beatrix's cousin Fanny Cooper and her husband Dr Charles Cooper. The letters span the period 1911-1944 and mainly concern the Crompton ancestors.
