A photograph album with a brown embossed leather cover with 2 brass clasps and gold page edging. There are 109 photos stuck in the album.There are also multiple pages where photographs were previously stuck in, the adhesive residue left indicates 64 photos were stuck into the album which are no longer there. The remaining photographs are of members of the Potter family, friends, and society figures, and some topographical views, dated c1860-70.. Subjects include Lord Palmerston, Lord Westbury, Tennyson, the Prince and Princess of Wales, Dickens, Thackeray, Princess Beatrice, Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, Queen Victoria, views of Paris, Dovedale, Bodiam Castle.
